Liveried Response Vehicle

We are currently raising money to enable us to purchase a new 4x4 response vehicle. Our team is on standby to respond to 999 calls when the ambulance service is under pressure or when they are hindered due to adverse traffic and weather conditions. Currently we use our own vehicles, at our own expense.

A 4x4 fully liveried vehicle will significantly help us to battle severe weather conditions to reach cutoff areas which we would not be able to reach in our own cars. In addition the vehicle will be recognised as an emergency vehicle and will alert other drivers of our presence, hopefully allowing us to reduce travel time and make every minute count. It will also have a superior GPS on board, allowing better tracking by the ambulance service, and enable us to carry Entonox (a pain reliever) which we are not insured to carry in our own cars.

If you would like to make a donation towards the purchase and subsequent upkeep of this vehicle, please visit our JustGiving page.
